Reds

Yesterday I watched Reds, a film about Marxist journalists John Reed and Louise Bryant, who are played by Warren Beatty and Diane Keaton, respectively. I read Ten Days that Shook the World, Reed's account of the October Revolution, last fall and heard about the movie around the same time, but I never got around to watching it until now. Anyway, it was a wonderful film - I'm a sucker for anything that blends personal and political drama! It was also a very visually stunning film (with beautiful Edwardian clothes!), so I took some pictures.

Finally June

It's been a while! The weather has been unseasonably cold and rainy here in Northern California, so I haven't wanted to do much other than wear sweaters, drink tea, and read. You can't see it very well in the photos, but the bodice has stripes on it, too! I love the little Coney Island in the '20s vibe it has.
